Tony hand makes ceramics, bowls, mugs, cups, jam pots, tea caddies, egg cups and jugs. He works in stoneware clays and enjoys making simple functional, pleasing pieces that have a place in the home.

Westmorland ReUpholstery
Hilary will be selling her beautiful upholstered goods at the Lake Makers Fair on the last Saturday of July. Be sure to drop by her workshop to hear about Hilary’s craft and to buy some woolly goods!
Hilary uses a mix of traditional and modern fixed ReUpholstery methods, with an emphasis on sustainable and local fabrics and materials.

Coconut Bay
Alice's handicraft is all beach inspired.
She will be selling shell bead bracelets, gold and silver shell jewellery and hand-made skirts.

Kay Cheer
Animal fine art. £80-£150. Pictures are done using pastels on pastel matt paper. They are all framed.
Pebble art. £20. Pebble art are hand-painted pebbles. Some animal painted pebbles in frames with natural materials.
Cards. £3. Cards are either prints of animal pictures or hand-painted flowers.
Prints. £30. Prints are from animal pictures or landscapes.
Jewellery from £3. Handmade necklaces and key charms.

Valo Furniture
Jon is currently a student at the Staveley-based Waters and Acland School of Fine Furniture, where he has been studying for the past year.
He will be exhibiting and selling some of the furniture he has made here in Staveley.
Jon is based in Lancashire.

La'al Treasures
Inspired by living in the Lake District, La'al Treasures creates handmade jewellery using recycled sterling silver, brass, copper and semi precious gemstones.
From cute sheep earring studs to striking, craggy statement piece necklaces, no two pieces are ever the same.
Prices from £25-£200.

Deborah Land
Deborah produces hand thrown functional and decorative stoneware. Her work is inspired by the simplicity of Scandinavian and Japanese design, with forms that highlight the clay's texture evoking the landscapes she has encountered on her travels.
Her range includes a full range of tableware and functional wares from dinner plates and bowls to everyday mugs that are specifically designed to fit your hand reflecting that true Hygge Scandinavian vibe.

Seedling Creation
Sarah makes hand-turned wooden gifts and jewellery and is based in Windermere. Whilst most items are made from natural wood, she also uses dyed laminated plywood or resin to create colourful jewellery.
Sarah makes bowls, boxes, vases, pendants, earrings, cufflinks, keyring, Xmas decorations and more.
Prices range from £10 - £100.

Studio Concordia
A new woodworking and furniture design brand from Dalton Kerby, a US-raised and UK-taught woodworker currently enrolled in the Waters & Acland Fine Furniture School here in Staveley.
Studio Concordia is focused on designing handmade, heirloom-quality pieces that are crafted with both form and function in mind.

Hana is a Cumbrian printmaker making lino prints and wood engravings rooted in folklore and the wilds.

Riverside Baskets
Alison makes and sells handmade willow baskets. She uses English willow.
The business is based in Staveley.
Alison welcomes commissions.

Little Moon Jewellery
Handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver jewellery. Made using 100% recycled silver, seaglass found along various beaches and some semi-precious gemstones. Everything is made by Little Moon in their Sedbergh workshop.
Little Moon Jewellery has been running for 2 years.
Little Moon creates rings, stud earrings, necklaces, hoop earrings and bracelets.
Prices ranges from £15-£95.

David Mundin
Original paintings and drawings, prints and sculptures. Themes are local views and landmarks with a fantastical and steampunk edge. Subjects are based on local history and folklore also.
David likes to use recycled bits and bobs for models and many of his frames are handmade or reclaimed and re-painted.
Prices range from £5 to approximately £200.

Lynette Phillips
Lynette makes quirky mosaic animals using a wooden backing, tiles and beads, and upcycled ceramics.
Prices ranges from £15 - £25 depending on size.

Megan Croft Ceramics
Megan makes stoneware ceramics - namely tableware - including cups, mugs, bowls, plates, vases and jewellery.
Each piece is unique, having been thrown and fired in small batches by Megan.

Matt Farrell
Matt has been studying at Waters and Acland Fine Furniture School for the past year and will be going Lake Makers Fair to show some of the furniture pieces he has made during his time in Staveley.

Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear
Janette specialises in designing and creating handcrafted knitwear, offering a range of Scandi stylish clothing and accessories. Their work is influenced by the colours and textures of the British landscape, particularly the Scottish Highlands and Cumbrian Fells & Coast.
Janette uses high-quality, often British-spun wools, with a particular focus on Merino.

Lucky Hands Studio
Lucky Hands Studio offers quilted goods and block prints to bring colour, comfort and whimsy to your home. All items are handmade by Astrid, the face behind Lucky Hands, in their home studio in the Lake District.
Quilted goods include soft toys, zippered pouches, throw pillow covers, and more. Each item features a unique colour combination and nods to traditional quilting. The hand carved block prints depict produce grown and playful moments imagined in Astrid’s allotment garden.
All items are handmade by my lucky hands for yours!

Nancy Calderbank

She creates local and national scenes, portraits and animal images.

Clare is a furniture designer-maker based in Staveley where she hand made contemporary furniture that celebrate the natural beauty and extraordinary qualities of wood.
At the fair you will find a selection of ready to buy pieces available to take home and Clare is also welcoming enquiries for bespoke commission.
Whether you’re looking for a unique piece for your home, thinking about a future commission or simply curious about making process, do stop by for a chat.

Aly Hall Ceramics
Aly makes ceramics and jewellery using porcelain and stoneware: she also creates Cyanotype prints and gifts.
She is inspired by nature and the seasons, and uses homegrown flowers to create my ceramics, jewellery and Cyanotype prints. She often makes pieces with imprinted flowers or uses them to create relief surfaces.
She sells many different porcelain and ceramic items including: -vases, dishes, tiles, ornaments, hanging decorations, soap dishes, incense burners, framed tiles, coasters, cheese platers, Ceramic and porcelain earrings, necklaces, Cyanotype flower prints, cards, notebooks and bookmarks.

Manda Lana
These products are developed with an environmentally friendly approach, using upcycled fabrics, especially the ones that otherwise would go to land fill.
The products are made mainly with natural fibres like wool, silks, linens and cottons using interesting textures and colour combinations. Products include meditation items, bags, wearable woollen accessories, cards and other side projects.
Prices range between £10 - £40.
Manda Lana products are also in the Big Onion shop in Staveley.
